Recycling is part of everyday life today. From food scraps to mobile phones, recycling gives many materials a new lease of life and prevents them from polluting our planet, as well as saving energy.

It also looks at new forms of recycling, from deposit schemes to repurposing, and assesses some innovations designed to make recycling more global and efficient.
